INTRODUCTION
Boom Beach is one of Supercell's oldest games, released back in 2014. Over the past 12 years, many have written it off, assuming it was living out its final days. But the numbers tell a completely different story. Today we publish our first half-yearly statistical report on the game - breaking down revenue, downloads, markets, and what it all means.
JUNE 2026: KEY NUMBERS
Let's start with the freshest data - the results of June 2026.

The game's total revenue for June reached $1,300,000 across both platforms. This is the best result since August 2025. Total downloads for the June came in at 80,000 across iOS and Android combined. Compared to May 2026:
- Revenue grew by $200,000 (+18%)
- Downloads dropped by 10,000 (-12.5%)
At first glance this looks like a contradiction. Fewer people are downloading the game, yet it's earning more money. We'll explain below why this is actually a good sign.
PLATFORM BREAKDOWN
iOS and Android tell completely different stories, and that distinction matters.
iOS generated $900,000 - 69,2% of total June revenue. Yet iOS accounted for only 30,000 of the 80,000 total downloads, or 37,5%. Top countries on iOS: China, United States, France.
Android brought in $400,000 - 31% of revenue, but 50,000 downloads - 62.5% of the total. Top countries on Android: United States, Turkey, Russia.
The takeaway is simple: Android brings the audience, iOS brings the money. On average, an iOS player spends nearly twice as much in the game as an Android player. This pattern has existed since Boom Beach launched and in June 2026 it only widened.
HALF-YEARLY REPORT: JANUARY - JUNE 2026

Now let's look at the full picture. Here's how the game's revenue changed from January through June 2026:
- January: $900,000
- February: $900,000
- March: $1,000,000
- April: $1,000,000
- May: $1,100,000
- June: $1,300,000
Total for H1 2026: $6,200,000.
Revenue grew every single month without a single dip. From January to June it increased by 44%. For a game from 2014, that is an exceptional result.
COMPARISON WITH H1 2025
Here the picture is slightly less rosy. In the first half of 2025, the game earned $6,800,000 - $600,000 more than in 2026.

A 8.9% year-over-year decline is not a catastrophe, but it is a signal. The audience is gradually shrinking, and fewer new players are arriving than are leaving. However, what matters more is this: those who stayed are spending more. That is precisely why, despite fewer downloads, revenue keeps climbing through 2026.
DOWNLOADS: A WARNING SIGN OR BUSINESS AS USUAL?
According to activeplayer.io, Boom Beach currently has around 15.4 million monthly active players across both platforms. The Android audience is roughly 3.5 times larger than iOS by player count, yet iOS players log in noticeably more often - their daily engagement rate stands at 24.1% compared to 16.7% on Android.

This tells us that falling downloads do not mean falling activity. People are simply installing less often - but those who play continue to do so regularly.
MARKETS: WHO PLAYS AND WHO PAYS
Boom Beach's geography can be summed up in one sentence: the United States is this game's home.
Based on historical Sensor Tower data, American players have accounted for approximately 44% of Boom Beach's total all-time revenue - around $361 million out of $820 million as of 2018. China has historically held second place with a share of around 10%.
Given that the United States tops both iOS and Android charts in June 2026, and China leads on iOS, this ranking has most likely remained intact. Turkey, Canada and France also appear consistently in the top lists, pointing to a strong European and Middle Eastern community.
Russia in the Android top is worth a separate note. Recall that since March 2022, Supercell officially suspended service for Russian players. Yet the country continues to appear in download statistics - an interesting and unexpected fact that deserves its own investigation.
GLOBAL CONTEXT: WHERE DOES BOOM BEACH STAND AMONG OTHER GAMES?
Based on Sensor Tower data for June 2026 in the United States, the game's rankings look like this:
- In the "Top Grossing - Game/Strategy" category, the game holds around ~100th place - stable throughout the entire month
- In "Top Free - Game/Strategy" - around ~177th place
- Among all games by revenue - around ~300–400th place, with a noticeable jump upward around June 16–17
The mid-June spike is the most interesting detail. A sharp climb in revenue rankings almost always means one thing: an update dropped or an in-game event launched that pushed players toward purchases.
For context, based on broader Sensor Tower data on the mobile market, strategy games in 2025 were one of the few genres to show revenue growth. Boom Beach, judging by its numbers, is keeping pace with that trend.
WHAT DOES ALL THIS MEAN?
Pulling everything together, here is the full picture.
Boom Beach is not a growing game in the traditional sense. Fewer new players are arriving than a few years ago, and compared to H1 2025 total revenue declined by almost 9%. That is a fact.
But within 2026, the game shows consistent month-over-month revenue growth. The existing audience is loyal, active, and willing to spend. That is the hallmark of a healthy, mature game - not a hype-driven one, but a stable one.
For a game of Boom Beach's age, which many have long considered "dying," $6.2 million in half a year and 44% revenue growth from January to June is not just good. It says the game is far from finished.
REVENUE FORECAST: WHAT TO EXPECT IN H2 2026
Let's be clear from the start: no public source publishes revenue forecasts for individual games. What we can do is look at the broader market trends and apply them to what we already know about Boom Beach.
What works in the game's favour
Strategy games generated 21.4% of total mobile gaming revenue in 2025, despite making up only 4% of all downloads. Boom Beach sits squarely in this genre - and its June numbers prove it follows the same pattern: fewer downloads, disproportionately high revenue per player.
Turkey posted a 28% increase in mobile gaming spending in 2024 - and Turkey is one of Boom Beach's top Android markets. That is a direct tailwind for the game going into H2 2026.
Live service events drive in-app purchases up 4% year over year, even as downloads drop 7%. This is exactly what we are seeing in Boom Beach right now - the existing audience keeps spending more each month.
What works against it
According to Global Growth Insights, Mobile game downloads dropped 7.2% globally in 2025. Boom Beach is not immune to this trend - and it shows in the numbers. Fewer new players are arriving, and that gap is unlikely to close without a major marketing push or a significant content update. Year over year, the game's H1 revenue declined 8,9% compared to H1 2025. That is a real signal, not a rounding error.
The forecast
A sharp spike is unlikely. A collapse is equally unlikely. Based on the internal momentum - 44% revenue growth from January to June within 2026 - and the broader strategy genre trends, Boom Beach is most likely to continue operating as a stable, mature live-service product.
Our estimate for H2 2026: monthly revenue holding in the $1,100,000 - $1,300,000 range, provided Supercell continues delivering regular updates and in-game events. If a major content update drops - a new troop, big changes, or seasonal event - a short spike above $1.3M is entirely possible. The ceiling depends on Supercell. The floor looks solid.
CONCLUSION
Boom Beach remains a living, earning project. Its community is smaller than Clash of Clans or Brawl Stars - but it is DEDICATED. And as long as those players stay, the game will keep growing in revenue even without a massive influx of new users.

The next report will cover the second half of 2026. If you have questions or want to see specific data in the next piece - leave a comment below.
